New Development in the City's Revival
On May 14, 2012, the Trenton Times featured an article on Clinton Lofts, a 22-unit development project to take place at 200 Hamilton Avenue in Trenton. The project has received final site plan and Landmarks Commission for Historic Preservation approval from the city. Once final project financing is obtained, the project can begin. Urban Word Seeks to Settle Outstanding Charges
On May 2, 2012, the Trentonian published an article highlighting Urban Word, LLC”s attempt to settle outstanding charges against its liquor license with the city. Urban Word, LLC”s liquor license is currently held at the Trenton Social, which Urban Word, LLC in partnership with Trenton Social Manager T.C. Nelson currently owns and operates. Supporters of the bar/restaurant fear that settling this matter in court might not only cost the Trenton Social its liquor license but its business as well. Thus, supporters of the Trenton Social attended the last city council meeting to voice their support of a quick and cost-efficient settlement.

Trenton Makes Building Fully Occupied!
On May 4, 2012, Trenton Makes, Inc. leased the last of its available suites at the Trenton Makes Building, 439 S. Broad Street, Trenton. The building is now fully occupied with entrepreneurs, artists, non-profits, and small businesses, including but not limited to, the Trenton Titans, a minor league hockey team organization, McAuliffe Carroll Architects, an architecture firm, Front Row Seat Productions, a audio and video recording company, NJTL, a tennis and learning non-profit, Ramzee Shabazz, a DJ and graphic artist, and Higher Power Yoga Studio, a full-service Yoga studio. We are pleased to have such great energy under one roof, and we thank our tenants for being a part of our community.
